Lectionary Based Discussion Group

This class focuses on the lectionary reading from the Sunday propers, and involves curriculum and commentary review and discussion.  Meets weekly, 9:20 – 10:15 beginning, Sept. 12.  During Advent and Lent, the group may choose studies designed for studies during these seasons.  Convener:  Chris Hass.

 

Living the Questions

This class will use the 21-session Living the Questions 2 which involves a DVD presentation of a leading theologian followed by discussion.  The series addresses evolving faith issues and spritual practices in our contemporary world.   Facilitator:  Richard Dickey.

Education for Ministry

EFM is a lay course in understanding the Bible, church history and theology sponsored by the Sewanee School of Theology and consists of course readings and discussion.  An EFM group is designed for 6 to 12 members and meets for 36 sessions.  EFM meets Mondays from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. and will begin its 2011-2012 classes on September 26.    For more information of Education for Ministry please visit:  Education for Ministry
