Ministry and Education Opportunities at St. Alban's Episcopal
St. Alban's Parish is dedicated to a wide range of ministries within our church community. We are always evaluating our programs and working to improve our ministries to best serve our parishioners and our neighbors.
We welcome you to join us!
Our children's choir directed by Mrs. Lauren Timmons. The children meet each Wednesday evening (September–May) and sing at various Sunday services. CantorKids offers music, Bible stories, prayer and child-focused fellowship. Open to children in Kindergarten through 6th grade.
Offered each week to elementary age children during our 10:30 AM worship. Children are led out of the church by the Crucifer and gather in downstairs classroom to explore their faith and examine the weekly Gospel reading, then return for Communion.
Young people ages 8–18 are invited to serve by assisting the Priest in the service as acolytes. Contact Fr. Jonathan at frjonathan@stalbansparish.org if you are interested in being a part of this ministry.
Rehearsals: Wednesdays at 7:00 PM (mid-August – mid-June)
The Saint Alban's Parish Choir consists of adults who love to sing and enjoy enhancing worship. Reading music is a plus but not required! Contact Tammy Shook for details: tammy.shook@stalbansparish.org

For adults who have always wanted to learn handbells. No music reading required — just a desire to learn and be part of a bell choir, led by Tammy Shook.
Providing for parishioners in need through the gift of food, rides, and help when unexpected needs arise. Meals are taken at times of hospitalization and childbirth. To volunteer, contact: theoffice@stalbansparish.org
Clergy and lay caregivers visit parishioners in hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living, and recovery centers. At Christmas, Easter, and Pentecost, communion is taken to those unable to worship at the church. Please notify the office of any visits.
We respond at the time of birth and death, support parishioners through job loss, financial hardship, and life transitions — from the struggles of a teenager to caring for an aging parent. Contact the parish office or clergy to access these ministries.
